The "Sound" of the Little Giants is somewhere between a Quintet and Big Band. It's a mixture of Jazz, Fusion and Afro Jazz.
Initially, the intention was to play tunes composed by the great South African icons -- music that was local but which was seldom heard or performed due to radio formats and other commercial reasons.
As time progressed, we started composing our own tunes, which is a mixture of the influences of each of the members of the group. So you might experience Afro tunes, Latin rhythms and even so Hip Hop.
